You are about to watch a video that I shot mid-May on a small lake in southern Indiana. The first fish I landed was a large catfish that smashed my top water shad popper. First time in many years I have had a cat hit a top water fly. The rest of the morning was spectacular as I was able to lure and land a bunch of nice bass. The sound was left so that you could get a feel for the incredible bird sanctuary this lake is…especially the male quail who were whistling all morning long.
