This ‘Springtime Smallmouth’ video was shot using my GoPro camera on a sunny and gorgeous day in scenic southern Indiana. The stream is up a bit from spring rains…but the water is dropping and clearing up. I am fishing a size 6 bluntnose minnow imitation on a 5 weight sinking line set up. The first smallmouth was 17 inches and occupied the head of the pool and was ready to eat after a long winter. I hope that by watching you can get some ideas and do some small creek fishing in your own home waters.
