The video you are about to watch is short as I land my first ever steelhead while fishing the first week of October while on The Muskegon River in Newaygo, Michigan (Read the story here). This was my first chance ever to catch a steelhead as it was my first time to be on water with steelhead. It was the only steelhead I landed on the day … but what a thrill for a fly guy from southern Indiana. Can’t wait to learn more and more and get back up in future years.
