I recently purchased some land in NW Wisconsin and will be living in the area part of the year. During that time, I will be offering a guide service.
Starting in September (2020), my guide service will operate just a few miles west of Minong, Wisconsin. If you have wanted to fish one of these rivers (St. Croix, Namekagon or Totagatic) and didn’t know how or who to contact, look no further…as I will be offering the following:
- Using my blue Voyagers, up to 2 rods and three hours on the water will be $150
- Using my blue Voyagers, up to 2 rods and six hours on the water is $300
- For DIY’ers…you can rent one of my Voyagers for $100/day (that includes a shuttle service locally)
- Lastly, if you find you need a shuttle service up in this area, give me a call and we can work something out…
For any of these services or questions, contact me at email@example.com
Obviously smallmouth bass are and will be the first specie on the list. This is one of the most rich waters you will ever find as evidenced by many of my previous videos (you can do a search using the search tool in the upper right hand portion of this page or click here). It is no exaggeration to say that there are trophy sized smallmouth here; an average fish is in the 14 inch range and I have caught several over 20 inches over the years. If you are a person looking for the ‘toothy varieties’ like pike or musky, they too are here in good numbers. I catch a lot of pike while smallmouth fishing and along the same lines, the musky are here but you will need to plan for fishing specifically for musky (10 weight rods and big tippets). So, bottom line is that the fish are here and if you are looking for an adventure, then contact me and we can get the ball rolling.
